RFID technology is widely used, and the unmanned weighing industry has also been well interpreted. The intelligent weighing management system has become an important technology for information management in various weighing industries such as coal mines, garbage dumps, petroleum industry, and non-ferrous metal mines. RFID technology provides an intelligent and information-based management solution for these industries with its non replicability, strong anti-interference ability, fast identification, and intelligent discrimination, realizing a new type of weighing intelligent management mode that is efficient, accurate, fast, and anti cheating. RFID technology makes unmanned weighing management intelligent.

To achieve automatic identification and information management of vehicle RFID, improve the efficiency and safety of vehicle passage, and collect vehicle entry and exit data for the convenience of management personnel for scheduling, in order to reduce the labor intensity of management personnel and effectively prevent charging loopholes. The intelligent weighing management system adopts remote RFID technology to achieve automatic identification of weighing vehicles on the original weighing management system, and merges the automatically collected weighing vehicle information into the weighing management system. The intelligent weighing management system can increase the speed of vehicles passing through the measuring department by 3-4 times. Through automatic identification of vehicle numbers and accurate measurement, it effectively prevents economic losses caused by human fraud to enterprises. After the implementation of the system, it greatly reduced the labor intensity of the staff and the error rate of manual weighing, improved the transparency of the management process, and promoted the informationization process of the enterprise.

What is RFID technology? RFID system is an unmanned intelligent weighing management system 123. A complete RFID management system consists of three parts: a reader, an electronic tag, and an application software system. Its working principle is that the reader emits a specific frequency of radio wave energy to the tag, which drives the tag circuit to send out internal data. At this time, the reader sequentially receives and interprets the data, and sends it to the application program for corresponding processing.

There are roughly two categories of products derived from RFID technology: passive RFID products and active RFID products.
  1. Passive RFID products are the earliest developed, most mature, and widely used products in the market. For example, bus cards, cafeteria meal cards, hotel access cards, second-generation ID cards, parking cards, etc., can be seen everywhere in our daily lives. The main operating frequencies of its products include low frequency 125KHZ, high frequency 13.56MHz, and ultra-high frequency 915MHz.
Low frequency 125KHZ, commonly known as the ID card frequency band, requires a reading distance of 5-8CM. The application range of this frequency band is quite wide, such as cafeteria meal cards, membership cards, access cards, etc. Due to its low cost and simple application, it is very popular in some RFID related application system software. In addition, low-frequency 134Khz injection labels are also very common in animal management applications such as cats and dogs.
The high frequency of 13.56MHz, commonly known as the IC card frequency band, requires a reading distance of 5-8CM. The second-generation ID card currently used in our country operates on the 13.56MHz frequency band with a protocol of 14443B. This frequency band is particularly widespread in the application of bus cards and library borrowing cards.

  3. ultra-high frequency 915MHz. This frequency band is more widely used in RFID, which is 860-960MHz. The frequency bands used in several major countries and regions are different, such as 902-928MHz in the American standard, 860-868MHz in the European standard, and 920-925MHz in our country. At present, the American standard is mainly used in applications, with a center frequency of 915Mhz, so it is collectively referred to as 915. This frequency band is divided into two main protocols, ISO 18000-6B and 6C, with 6B being the old protocol and 6C being the new protocol. The reading distance is generally between 0-30 meters, depending on the power of the read-write module, antenna gain, and tag size. The ultra-high frequency 915M has these advantages: long non-contact reading distance (0-30M), multi tag anti-collision reading, fast recognition speed, ability to recognize high-speed moving objects, long lifespan, intelligent control, high reliability and other advantages. Currently, it is becoming increasingly widely used in IoT applications.

  5. 2 Active RFID products have gradually developed in recent years. There are significant applications in the field of remote automatic recognition, such as smart prisons and home school communication. Active RFID has emerged as a rising star in this field and belongs to the category of long-range automatic identification. The main operating frequencies of the product are ultra-high frequency 433MHz, microwave 2.45GHZ, and 5.8GMHZ.
At present, the RFID used in our unmanned weighing system are all passive RFID products, with a working frequency of ultra-high frequency 900-960MHz. Combined with contactless sensing card swiping technology, unmanned operation can be achieved. When the vehicle is parked on the weighing platform, the weighing software automatically collects vehicle information through RFID devices. After the weighing software determines that the weighing data is stable, it captures photos and saves the gross weight or tare weight. A camera can be used to capture photos of the driver swiping the card, print documents, release the vehicle, and then start the next vehicle. When a vehicle passes the tare weight for the second time, the software automatically retrieves the collected vehicle information. After the software determines that the vehicle is stable, it begins to capture tare weight photos and save the weight. Then, it combines the data with the first gross weight to form a record, calculates the net weight, and prints the document. In this way, the computer stores the gross weight, tare weight, net weight data of the vehicle, as well as photos of the saved gross weight and tare weight, and the driver’s card number, which corresponds one-to-one with the vehicle number. Therefore, RFID unmanned weighing systems are widely used in power plants, coal mines, non-ferrous metal mines, garbage dumps, freight stations and other units.
